I have no secrets about my feelings on MTGGoldfish. I absolutly love the site and it is a great tool. Also, if you could not already tell, I am super excited for the next group of cards to be released. MTGGoldfish has always done a great job at getting information out to the player base of Magic. Enjoy the video; however, take into consideration that the video is fully loaded with spoilers for the upcoming set “War of the Spark”!
I wanted to thank the staff at MTGGoldfish for doing great things within the community!
Let me preface this blog post with an apology. I had some technology issues with my PC over the weekend that delayed the release of this post. Thank you for your understanding!
Greetings and welcome to another MTG Monday post. This week we will be looking at the “Confirm Suspicions” card!
Confirm Suspicions is a rare instant blue card from the “Shadows over Innistrad” expansion that allows you to investigate three times. (To investigate, put a colorless Clue artifact token onto the battlefield with a 2 cost mana card, Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card.”)
The card can easily assist you with gathering cards from your deck from the draw and push you into a win with a really strong blue deck. The art on this card was drawn by David Gaillet and had a plethora of blue’s that very in brightness to dark. Lighting affects in art of any level really makes me happy to spend the time just looking at a piece.
What are some of your favorite blue cards to have in your game play rotation?

Welcome to the weekly Magic! The Gathering post here at Zephirah’s Adventure. This week we will be covering the Amonkhet, Hour Of Devastation, green creature ‘Dune Diviner’.
Upon play of this Naga Cleric, you would tap a Desert that you have control of and gain one life. It would be a great utility card if you are looking for a way to gain a life in combination with other healing green cards.
The flavor text is also a force to be reckoned with. It reads, as follow’s: ” The desert had once been a place of endless horror. It was now the last refuge as the city of Naktamun fell.”
Over the weekend I went to a local gaming store that sold a bunch of older games and various systems. They just so happened to have a small selection of Magic! The Gathering cards available to purchase. They had Oath of the Gatewatch, Ixalan, and Ravnica Allegiance booster pack’s. My eyes focused on Gatewatch, so I picked a pack up.
When I got home I put my stuff away and sat the pack on my desk. I opened up the MTGGoldfish website and busted open the pack of cards. Upon opening the pack, I got some very basic cards. Their was one card that caught my eye. That card being Eldrazi Mimic. A creature that swaps power and toughness with another colorless creature when it enters the battlefield.
The flavor text is “It is consistently inconsistent.”
I found that tag line absolutely hilarious and true.
Last week, a member of the raid team I run with in Warcraft had made a suggestion.
His suggestion was to download and play “Magic: The Gathering! Arena”. My younger brother, who also plays and collect’s MTG Cards, made the suggestion to me as well. I have also seen several people play the game via twitch as well. So, I quickly went over to the Wizards Of The Coast website and did so.
I figured, I would play 2 or 3 nights a week, and get better at mechanic’s. Honestly, it is fun. I really am enjoying my time spent in the game thus far.
So, for those of you that are looking to play more MTG, and have minimal time, this may also be a good way to scratch the itch!
If you have been living under a rock, have not listened to previous podcast, or read any of my previous post you would not know that I am part of a D&D Campaign. On that note, I would like to introduce the player characters that were drawn for us!
I am super excited to let you guys see what our characters look like and very happy that we now have a visual representation.
Alludra, the fabulous cohost of Battle Pets and Fae Warlock in the campaign had asked us a few weeks ago if we would want a sketch drawn of our character’s. I jumped on the chance to take her up on the offer. She reached out to her son and he took it from there with descriptions we as players had provided to her.
Her son, Teirren, did a wonderful job and I am super happy how things worked out.
