World Questing: Music Motivation!

For all intensive purposes, let me lead this post of by saying that I absolutely love the soundtrack that the Blizzard team puts together for their expansions. However, at times I do need to listen to something different by other talented artist.

I want to give these artist the space to be creative and give them some of my attention as well when I game. To become immersed in what they are trying to achieve by listening in a way that I would naturally.

Once I listened to the following music I absolutely fell in love with all of the elements of the music.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Warcraft Wednesday: Haste, the new gateway drug!

Zeph hasteI know that secondary stats are not the focal point for any class or spec. I also know that item level is great to have at high levels. However, I have played a priest since Cataclysm and the need for haste is at all time high and it has little pay off.

Honestly, I am not sure if it is worth the trouble. For being ilvl 345, her haste is at 13%. It’s is underwhelming, and feels very slow.

Slow to the point of wanting me to rip my hair out. It is frustrating and at one point or another I feel like I should move on.

If you have no idea for the stat priority for a shadow priest is as follows: Intellect > Critical Strike > Haste > Mastery >= Versatility. Haste for consumables is also suggested. (Consumables are gem’s, enchants, and food that you would take with you into raids, five man dungeons at any level, and the other various things you would like to complete.) I know that for Battle For Azeroth the items will have a smaller amount of attributes overall on them, plus there are less secondary stats available in comparison to Legion. That is just how a stat squish works.

I know it seems like I am making a big deal out  of nothing, and lets face it, you should bring the player and not the class or item level; however, this just seems to be off to me. I am going to try and keep a good outlook for this but with how things are going that I should choose another class to play as a main for the expansion.

Zephirah’s Adventure: Change Is Good!

wowscrnshot8-e1536273839434.jpgIf you have been reading the blog for a while you know that I have been playing my main toon, a priest, since Cataclysm.

Let’s talk boys and girls. Yes, about your main toon. Is it time to change? If so, what class? Honestly, I have no idea. I know that I have a lofty goal to have all classes and races to max by the end of the expansion. That may have been a mistake.

A goal is a goal though and I fully intend to stick to it. It is weird place to be in. Basically, at this point I am with out a main at the moment and dont know what I want to level next.

Weird right?

Change can be good. I know I can figure this out.

Warcraft: Take a break? YES!

warbringers-jaina-e1532372382964.jpgWe as people have a plethora of things that we are involved in during a daily basis. As a Warbringers Jainagamer, that is no exception.

At this point in the game of Warcraft for me, I believe that a short break is a much needed thing. Even with the recent update to the game with 8.0 and all of the changes that it brings. I am not suggesting that this is the best choice for everyone or every player and if you still are playing this late in the expansion, that is great.

I am happy for you.

Really.

I know I have been blogging, podcasting, reading news, doing research for and expending a metric ton of energy into Warcraft as of late. I still love the game. I do not believe that I will not ever not enjoy the game on some level. At times, taking a break from things that you love and going back to it with fresh eyes is the best thing to do.

On that note, I do want to bring to your attention, if you have not been paying any sort of attention to the Warcraft site or news, to the animated shorts. The first installment is for Jaina. It is definitively a great watch.
