Feature Friday: The Arcade Blogger!

If you grew up in the 70’s and 80’s, video games had a different form then.

The Arcade Blogger is a great way to relive a blast from the past with restoration articles, reviews of classic machines,  and articles that will make you feel like a kid again.

Take a look at the blog here!

Zephirah’s Adventure: Weekend Thoughts!

I have been thinking over the holiday what I am thankful for. One of those things that happened to populate in my brain is this blog that I happen to maintain.

It is hard work. To keep up, and to keep going with it. I could have easily given up months ago but I chose to keep going.

Why? To keep going when it is hard shows some resilience. I know that I have let the “podcasting” thing slip because of various issues that came around but to keep it going makes me feel like I am productive somewhere. Even if the blog never really will make it much further then the readers I have currently.

I am thankful for the people that continue to read it because it keeps me honest. It is a great source of motivation actually.

Essentially what I am saying here is that, I do not know when the podcast side of things are going to come back, if at all, but the blog will not go away. Eventually I will come back in the new year with the podcast. For now, the podcast is on a break for the holidays.

Warcraft: Why do you play your faction?

Zephirah Gnome 2The lovely Z and Cinder had posted a wonderful question that I just had to answer!

Why do you play your faction? For starter’s, I play (or have been known) both Horde and Alliance; however, I do have my main currently on the Alliance side. I have, or at least for as long as I can remember, bounced back and forth between the factions with a plethora of alts.

At one point, Zephirah, the priest was a gnome. I have a rather lengthy roll play story for her. To make a long story short though Zephirah was a gnome working just outside of Stormwind at the king’s request, found out that her father died and wanted to go and find his body. She wanted a proper burial for him in the Stormwind with the rest of the hero’s. She in the process found out about what the Lich King was doing and decided to fight for Azeroth. To protect the land and slay all of the evil in the world around her. As she was fighting the magic of a Death Knight and a radical arcane mage mixed and she turned into a dragon. She ended up hiding out for a while until a Tauren Druid took care of her until she turned into her humanoid form again. The Druid, Mauimoo, did the best she could with the aid of what the Pandaren people had taught her.

However Mauimoo did not anticipate her to turn into an elf though. Zephirah Zephirah Gnomethanked Mauimoo and ventured to Teldrassil where she found that she felt like she did not belong there. She did some minor work for the city and when she was ready she fought against Garrosh Hellscream. After the fight her body went into a frenzy again and turned into a Blood Elf. Ever since then she has followed Khadgar and his teachings.

Zephirah always felt like she could never go back home in her elf form. She absolutely hates it. She wants to be normal again. A gnome.

So, yes boys and girls. I am bi-factional and proud.

coheed-and-cambria-new-pub-2-2018-jimmy-fontaine-loVaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures is the upcoming ninth studio album by progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. It will be released on October 5, 2018. It continues the band’s Amory Wars concept.

On May 31, 2018 the band released the first two tracks of the album, “Prologue” and “The Dark Sentencer”, on YouTube. The track listing and album artwork were released on June 22, 2018. The band released the song “Unheavenly Creatures”, which is the album’s third track, on June 28. On August 16, “The Gutter” was released.

I am super excited for the release of the album on the fifth of October. I have been listening to Coheed and Cambria for a while now. It is always great to see new material from these guys!
