WoW: Boredom?

At this time in most expansions most players become plagued with boredom. So, I know a few questions that come to mind when a player says this about a game they enjoy. Lets go through some of them shall we? Sure!

Mythic’s? Who wants to do that?

World Quest? I already did a metric butt ton! No!

Farm AP? No!

Sigh, I am sure taking a break at this point may be a good idea. However with the minimal amount of time that play, what is it that you want to do?

For me, and this is a personal preference, Tuesday’s are my one and only raid day. LFR and I go into Antorus with my team. My team has alternating weeks of heroics with mains & alt nights in normal. It is a great pace for me and never feels overwhelming. For that I would like to thank my team from the Convert To Raid guild, ‘The Rubber Chicken Coalition’ for making raiding a good spot for me to come into and feeling welcomed and a place to get better and improve.

The other days I do happen to log in it is not for very long, it usually to run old raids for mounts and I like to do that during the weekends. Otherwise it is a random day and I am leveling an alt, and overall, I am ok with that.

Alt-a-holic: Revenge of the Alts, Part 2!

Zelodie, Tauren Paladin

Meet Zelodie, the Tauren Paladin, on Bolderfist. Proud Member of Blood Of The Scribe.

She is my first 110 horde toon for the legion expansion.

Did I happen to mention that she is a boosted toon? No. Well, she is boosted. I am also very nervous to say that I am going to be tanking with her. That should be interesting because I have not had a max level Paladin since Cataclysm.

For now, what I would like to do with her is to complete the Surmar quest chain to unlock the allied races, then to attempt mythic 5 man dungeons. Nothing more then 5’s. I am more wanting to get my feet wet and see if I feel confident enough to continue tanking or if I should give the DPS spec a go.

Thank you for reading the post! If you would like to talk about your alts, battle pets, Warcraft in general, or any other topic please feel free to drop in to the blogs discord!

Favorite Legion Quest!

I would like to take a moment to thank the fantastic people at the Z & Cinder’s blog! They are absolutely great! Keep up the great work! I will link to their topic’s available if you would like to participate in the challenge is as follows: Z & Cinder’s blog!

Topic 1: Favourite Legion quest: What is your favorite quest or quest chain so far in Legion?

kobold-high-mtn.jpgBesides the poop quest that makes an appearance in every expansion, this is a hard question. There are so many of them! My favorite is the quest in High Mountain where you train the little gnome girl by the name of Addie Fizzlebog to hunt. She asks “should we take a selfie” while we’re hunting. Cracked me up. The other set of quest that was absolutely hilarious was the kobold quest chain, also in High Mountain. The chain also contains a quest that you play as the quest giver.

Topic 10: Favourite World Quest: What’s your favorite World Quest in Legion so far and why?

squirrl.jpgMy favorite world quest is in Val’sharah. Awe, Nuts! It’s short and to the point – and has a pretty funny joke when upon completion!

Community Spotlight: WickedKitten13

Wicked Kitten 131.) What drew you into Blizzard Games?
This might be a bit long. Giggity. About 6 years ago I was introduced to the Frogpants community through TMS, Film Sack… basically most things Scott Johnson. I have always wanted to do something in radio or voice work but I’ve always been too scared. This community is really pulling me out of my shell. In 2015, I finally had the courage to fly all the way to Utah to be at my first Nerdtacular. I had never been anywhere alone, where I didn’t know a soul. I was scared and decided to stay in my room. I tweeted out into the universe “It’s hard being an ambivert”, with the NT15 hashtag. I got a response back, “Hey, we’re your people. Come find us.” This is how I met my good friends Jayonce, Marconin and Jules. It was at The Instance panel. I watched a cinematic that filled my heart, a beautiful world with amazing characters. I heard stories of people making lifelong friends and even falling in love and moving across the country. I met Chris Metzen and Russell Brower, they were the kindest, chillest dudes. And at The Angry Chicken panel I was already downloading Hearthstone. I went home and bought a computer, and the first thing I did was download Warcraft. Because of the friends I made there I was encouraged to come to BlizzCon. It was the most fun I had ever had and made even more friends within the CTR and AIE communities. I got my first taste of Heroes of the Storm. Honestly, I fell in love. It was at this point that I started my romance with Heroes. There is no other company like Blizzard. They are part of the reason I have my family of nerds, why I stream their games. They’ve indirectly given me a voice and a dream job to shoot for. Blizzard is like gravity and my communities are the air. I’m so full of sap, but these people mean the world to me.
2.) You stream competitive Hero’s, when did you start streaming?
I started streaming a little over a year ago as part of a group called Tadpool Plays with Dicetomato and Wigdete33. We stream not only Blizzard but other interesting games as well. This experience, and unemployment, gave me the courage to start streaming on my own. I became an affiliate in November and decided to get more serious about it. It really has become something I get excited for.
3.) What esports teams are you cheering on?
I am a HUGE Dignitas fan. Even with James Baker leaving, it’s still a great team with heart and sophistication. #HGC
4.) What are some of your favorite streamers / streams to watch?
Scott Johnson, of course and FeriouslySteph. Since I’m mostly about growing the community I watch smaller streamers. Mageadeath for Hearthstone, G0r4th for Heroes, AfroHorsey and Brian Dunaway for variety streams.
5.) Do you have any advice for someone who is getting into a creative things (like podcasting, art, blogging, music, etc.)?
I’m still figuring it all out myself so I don’t think I’m the one to ask for advice. I will paraphrase great advice that I’ve been given: “You are never trapped or stuck, you just haven’t found the way out yet.” “Sometimes you just need to jump into the scary.” “Do what you love, as often as you can.” Ok I will say this… Be kind, be yourself. People can always see who you really are.
6.) Hearthstone’s new expansion is super fun! How are you doing in ranked play with the new cards & decks?
I am an incredibly relaxed ranked Hearthstone player. The highest I’ve ever gotten is 14 or 15. That said I am loving my modified Warlock deck. Modified because I’m poor.
7.) What hero would you bring to Heroes Of The Storm (or Hearthstone) & why?
Yrel would be amazing in the Nexus! Don’t tell anyone but I’m a Warlords baby and my first toon was a space goat shaman. Also, Mercy from OW because “dem hips”!
8.) You have an awesome community around you! What is the best thing about interacting with in the community?
Being part of the Frogpants community, and all these sister communities has changed my life. My favourite thing is I have all my friends wherever I go. If I have a bad day and want to cry, or I have a good day and want to celebrate. I always have amazing people in my phone and in my heart. They also happen to be some of the smartest and funniest people I’ve ever known.
Wicked Kitten 13 kittys9.) According to your cute name & Twitter page, you like cats. Any particular cat you love?
Kit Kats are pretty good. I like most cats. I loved my little Butterscotch who I lost about a year ago and my sweet Greyson who loves belly rubs.
10.) Where can people find you on the Internet?
You can find me on: Twitter @Wickedkitten13 or Twitch.tv/Wickedkitten13

Growing Up In Azeroth!

A lot of my time for the Friday post is something geared to finding a novel, short story, graphic novel or something to that effect. However finding other blogs or podcast that I learn something from or that I find awesome, I will post it for Friday! While looking what I can post about I came across another blog called “Growing up In Azeroth” here on wordpress. Their tag line was even a refreshing thing to read.

Just so you know when you go to visit the page, yes there is 2 people who wright in the blog. A Father daughter team. I really enjoyed reading it! Take a look at their post, and especially the “The Priest Campaign: Second Rate Paladin’s” post. It is a very interesting read!
