By the time this post is live on the blog there will be a little over 24 hours for the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night To Shine” and I am super excited. If you do not know what the event is, let me take some time to explain. It is a prom for children and adults with disabilities. This year will mark the third year that I will be attending the event as a buddy.
Last year, after the prom, I got sick. It was so worth it. I just so happened to be a guest on the podcast “Frazlcast” with Frazley and he said I sounded like Minni Mouse. For the fantastic time I had just to see the the children smile.
I just wanted to take a time to say thank you to all of the volunteers, the church’s that host the event, to the foundation for putting the event together, and for all of the children who have such a great time.

For the last few years I have taken a deep dive into the electronic music movement and have really enjoyed what I have been listening to from Blaqk Audio. Each album and song has intrigued me in such a way that I have been known to binge on their stuff for days.
Davey Havok had an interview last month to showcase the latest single from Blaqk Audio, ‘The Viles’, and to also let the fans know that the album “The Only Things We Love” will be released on March fifteenth.
As I usually suggest on the music post, if you enjoy the music as much as I do, please support the artist. Visit the Blaqk Audio site here!

I am sure most, if not all, of the young ladies in our life will recall having some form of a Polly Pocket toy in their day. My personal collection was very small (pun intended!) and honestly the fad faded fast for me. I was more into “My Little Pony” and “Strawberry Shortcake” to be honest.
The recent Hot Topic line of Polly Pocket items has be intrigued though. So, this week I am featuring Alexa Poletti’s youtube video for all of you to see what is available in the line and to see her excitement about them!
Lets face it, any level of pain sucks. Some tend to handle it better then others. However, let’s talk about migraine’s! I have, for several years, dealt with a varying degree of headaches to full fledged debilitating migraines. I also, for several years, played Warcraft. At times, these two things do not mix.
A couple times, for up to 4 to 5 days in length, have had my fair share of migraines. One time, a couple years ago, a migraine had me laying in bed for just about 2 weeks. Doctors do not understand why it lasted that long. I wanted to work, and game, and be a part of the community. I just could not sit up for more then twenty minuets.
Migraines for each person who has them effects them differently. For me it was a throbbing at my temples, forehead, and a cracking feeling on the top my skull. Every time I have a migraine, I experience dizziness, sensitivity to light and sound, and am nauseated. Trying to play Warcraft, or any of my various other favorite games, is very hard in that condition.
As for me now, I still get them. They still very in how bad they are and honestly I do not wish this type of pain on anyone. So, if you are suffering from these monsters, see your doctor, get them treated. Then come back to the games that you love.
