The Cranberries: Dolores O’Riordan

Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of the Irish rock band the Cranberries, died on Monday in London. She was 46.

Her death was announced by her publicist, who did not specify the cause.

A spokes person for the Metropolitan Police made a statement on Monday January the 25th to a hotel in Westminster at about 9:05 a.m., and O’Riordan was pronounced dead. Her death is not being treated as suspicious. There are no other details being released at this time.


Music Monday: Gary Numan

gary-numan-savage-album-cover-700-420Gary Numan was born on March 8, 1956. He was born and grew up in Hammersmith, West London. He started with a band in the early 1970’s by the name of Tubeway Army before starting his successful solo career in 1979.

Savage (Songs from a Broken World) is Numan’s eighteenth studio album that was released in September 2017. It is a hauntingly beautiful concept album set in a post apocalyptic world that is a cautionary tale of how things will end up if things do not change.
