Zephirah’s Adventure: Rolling Restart!

Hello and welcome back to the blog. If you are new here thank you for stopping by! This week’s rolling restart has been met with so many in game events and it is a great time to be leveling.

Battle for Azeroth Dungeon Event has started and goes until November tenth. The Darkmoon Faire is available until November sixth. With the Sixteenth Anniversary for World of Warcraft make sure to get your stackable XP bonus. The Anniversary event last until the twenty second of November. I have several characters that will be visiting the Faire, starting with my demon hunter. She is close to being max level.

In the month of November the Pilgrims Bounty is also coming up. Along with the release of the new expansion and all of these events I am looking forward to seeing the new stuff that comes along with some old favorites.

What are some of your favorite events that happen in game? Is their anything you are looking forward to with the Shadowlands expansion?

With love from the adventure,

Zephirah

Zephirah’s Adventure: Rolling Restart!

Welcome back to the adventure! If you are new here hello and thank you for stopping by! This week’s “Rolling Restart” post I am going to cover how my week went in Warcraft and the events that are happing in the next seven day’s.

Doomstick in Pandaria

I have been leveling a few characters, starting with my Demon Hunter. I have been having so much fun with her while in Pandaria. Her name is Doomstick and she got her name because I was watching a friend’s stream and he randomly said the name and I liked it so much that I created the character on the spot. I also created a new character named Zelozelos, an undead rogue, that I will be leveling in War-mode after she gets out of Exiles Reach. Overall, it has been a good experience with the leveling changes. I never really been good at playing a rogue but I am going to make a strong attempt to level her. Plus, for an all green, non-boney Undead she is pretty cute.

With all of the movement I am gathering a lot of gold and moving it to an alt guild bank. I am making the attempt to get gold cap in Shadowlands. It is going to take me some time to reach that goal but am making great strides.

On that note, let’s talk about the next week of events in Warcraft! Hollow’s End continues this week. Starting Tuesday (the day this post is released / posted) the World Quest Bonus Event begins! Do not forget to pick up the quest. Most importantly, have fun in game!

With love from the adventure,

Zephirah

Zephirah’s Adventure: MTG Monday!

Welcome to Magic Monday. The post dedicated to Magic! The Gathering. This week we will be looking at the card Cyclonic Rift from the Return To Ravnica set. The set came with two hundred and forty nine cards total. That translates to fifteen Mythic, Fifty tree rare, eighty uncommon and one hundred and one common cards.

Instant
Return target nonland permanent you don’t control to its owner’s hand.

This card is an Instant that return the target nonland that you don’t control to its owner’s hand. This would be great if you are about ready to eat a bunch of damage to the face or your spread. It is a very strong board wipe if used correctly.

This card is an Instant that return the target nonland that you don’t control to its owner’s hand. This would be great if you are about ready to eat a bunch of damage to the face or your spread. It is a very strong board wipe if used correctly.

On the flip side, If it is casted early it will delay your game and truth be told not a very good move. If you do not have a strategic plan to play the cards in your hand properly then you are just wasting the time of the other player’s at the table. So, play smart and use the tools you put into your deck.

Thank you for going on the adventure with me today. Hope you had as much fun as I did. I would like to thank the creators of MTGoldfish. Their website is always a good tool when preparing these post about Magic.

To learn more about this card at MTGGoldfish please visit their website here.

With Love, Zephirah

Zephirah’s Adventure: Pokémon with OliverN3RD!

Hello and welcome back to the adventure. This week’s “Thursday Thought’s” is transitioning into tabletop, collection of trading cards, and all things Pokémon with my younger brother OliverN3RD.

Last week we were talking about collecting items via games and physical items and why they bring us so much joy. When we were having the conversation I came up with the idea for the post and asked OliverN3RD to pick five of his favorite cards to play. It did not matter weather it was online or a physical card.

The following is his list. They are as follow’s:

5 Melmetal GX

Oliver picked this card due to the playability the overall meta and the premise when he first started he didn’t see a lot of play with this card on the board.

4 Rayquaza GX

A dragon card is one of his favorite cards and the reason why he picked he picked it was because of nostalgia going back to diamond and pearl. He loves the dragon break and it had so much play and it won four out of seven times in tournaments and is a great reset card.

3 Mechamp

Oliver has been playing this card for a long time. At least since 1995 he was pulled into competitive play because of this particular card. Machamp is Oliver’s weakness via Pokémon. Fighting Tag is a switch card and goes into Champ Buster.

2 Gladion Trainer

This card is simple in standard play with Rayquaza. Oliver says that this is a good card to use because it lets you look at the face down cards and do a bunch of damage right away.

1 Cinderance V

Fire striker bunny that is one of his first V cards and was quickly integrated into his deck. A stadium card that uses Crimson Legs over and over for a lot of damage. It also buffs the health pool.

Zephirah

Zephirah’s Adventure: Creature Feature with Z & Cinder!

Topic 43 – Why do you choose the games you do?

With Warcraft I am a collector, of pets mounts and gold. As of late I have been so enthralled with the capability to foster friendships with doing what you already do in game. For example, Manlow a friend of mine because of Diablo 3 and I have spent time in voice channels looking for the “Baby Ape” Pet. The cape of Stranglethron is so beautiful with its sunsets that I took a screen shot. It was in fact a wonderful time spent looking for the pet. He has, the last time I checked, a total of two more pets to find in the Eastern Kingdoms. As far as Diablo 3, friends pull me in there. I love playing my crusader. I do not choose to tank in Warcraft for a plethora of reasons, one of those reasons just so happens to be my crusader. Shield slam is the best when you have the right tools and armor. Also goblins, lots and lots of goblins. Enough said. Also I get to pick on DeadGreed from the “Shattered Soul Stone” Crew. He is amazing and wonderful to talk to. Good gaming guy! I have learned a lot from Greed.

Topic 44 – 30 days of photos!!

Zephirah in her Kirin Tor Transmog!

Topic 45 – the Bucket List revisited – and recreated!

When it come to a bucket list that is revisited and recreated I will have to do another post for that. Including what is in my bags. That place is a mess, and working on selling things in the auction house. However I will compile and post that post in the next few days. I am going to need time to accumulate all of the list and photos!

With love from the adventure and to awesome transmogs,

Zephirah

Zephirah’s Adventure: What’s In A Name?

What is in a name? A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.

Zephirah, the name, as a girl’s name is of Greek origin meaning “west wind”. Funny how it matches Warcraft and its titles system. Zephirah of the west wind with humble beginnings in the outskirts of Stormwind. As a gnome, she picked up tailoring and enchanting. As she grew older, her skills became that of a master. Soon, the king would visit to ask for his armor to be draped in the finest of silks she could find. She swiftly became meaning of the dawn, gothic, dark and lovely. As the shadows took over her body, she wanted her revenge against the lich king and to take over her crown once more. Ascending the steps of the citadel a carnivorous Arcane Mage named Sondra and a freshly death knight powers mixed by tossing a fireball and a death and decay. The powers were overwhelming, her queen above her floating down from the heavens, she whispered her name. A rise young one, you have more work to do. Save her, the mage, put her in her slumber.

To be continued. . .

With love from the adventure,

Zephirah
