Summer 2019: Where have I been?

Its been since just before my birthday in April that I posted here. I figured to give myself some time off.

Truth be told, I think I was giving myself way to much to do with all the topics I was covering and with medial issues that cropped up on top of working, I was in no mindset to blog or produce a podcast.

I had promised myself that I had to miss doing it before I came back and to feel strong enough to sit down and type for more then a couple hours at a time. Now is that time. I am not going to sugar coat anything because I dont believe reading the post full of bullshit or trying to win someone over will do the trick. I also always try to hold myself to “be the same online as if someone was standing in front of me in real life.” and it has served me pretty well over the years.

On that note, I have thought about what the topics are going to be about and I honestly have no idea. I have not played Warcraft much over the summer for the reasons already listed. I also believe I got burnt out a little bit. Not that I don’t love the game still, I just needed a break, and honestly its been good. I have played the first three weeks of the Diablo 3 season and I am having a blast. I have learned a lot. As far as Diablo, I really am enjoying myself and there are already a bunch of podcast and blogs out there that are good tools for you to use and I do not want to take away from them at all.

The other thing that I have been doing less of is D&D, for the same reasons, and honestly I am working on building a campaign that I want to work out and that I, in the end, be very proud of. By this time next year I want to have it all written down, play tested a few times, and ready for the first go through with players. Honestly, I am nervous about how people will respond to it but I am sure in the end with all the resources online and really good players, and fellow DM’s, that will launch me into a good set of sessions with the players.

So, my plan for the blog for now? To have a post up at least two to three times a week with a verity of topics, and not stick to the normal schedule that I did last time. Yes, boys and girls, it will be random!

Thanks for being here and following the blog for as long as you all have!

Warcraft Wednesday: What’s in your bags?

Greetings and welcome to another ‘Warcraft Wednesday’ post! Today I decided to tackle another challenge from Z & Cinder’s Blogging challenge that I thought would be fun to do!

Whoa, thats a lot of cloth!

As you can see I have been gathering quite a bit of cloth to create bags over the expansion. I have a lot of enchanting reagent’s as well. The biggest thing that you will notice is that my priest has not transitioned into the newest bags for BFA. I have not felt the need to transition over because I feel like I have enough room for what I need.

I wanted to thank Z & Cinder for the blogging challenge! If you wanted to try any of their challenges please visit their site.

Tabletop Tuesday: Krenko, Mob Boss!

Greetings to the new Tabletop Tuesday post. This week we are going to be covering ‘Krenko, Mob Boss’!

This red legendary goblin creature cost 4 mana, It can create an x amount of 1/1 red Goblin creature tokens, where X is the number of Goblins you control. The one I have in my collection comes from the ‘Duel Decks: Merfolk vs. Goblins’ set.

I have been considering to build a goblin deck for a little while now. I am going to be adding this to the set list.

What are some of your favorite red creature cards to use in your deck?

Meditation Monday: Hey, look a new thing is happening!

Greetings readers! I know this is something new for you. Change is always something that is a huge undertaking and for the most part good.

In early November of 2018 I had decided to begin my journey with the practice officially. So far, I have been a lot more calm and able to focus on things that need my attention with ease. With a set meditation schedule and working out, life overall has been a lot more peaceful.

Recently the ‘Meditation & Mindful’ discord community that I am a member of had a forgiveness guided meditation led by one of the admins. The following day a newer member of the server posted a video of a guided meditation of the same topic. Coincidence? More then likely. However, the spring does bring renewal, the promise of warmer weather and a future of summer.

It was a breath of fresh air to hear the words Greg was speaking during the meditation. The ability to be at peace and to let go of the hurt that is pent up in the heart. To actually forgive and ask for forgiveness of any pain you may have caused. At first, I was resistant. Then I thought to myself one singular word and question. Why? Why would you hold on to the burden of hurt, pain, the heaviness. Why hold that in your mind, make your heart heavy, and be a bitter person. Honestly, carrying all that around made me depressed at times. Letting that go and to be forgiven made me feel light.

Here are both video’s. Enjoy!

Thursday Though’s: Change is coming, again?

Greetings to another post here on Zephirah’s Adventure. Thank you so much for stopping by. I have been thinking about changing daily topic’s again. As a challenge for myself, to show what I have been up to in life, and honestly change is good.

Here is what is going on in my head as far as topic’s! The list is as follow’s:

  • Monday: Meditation
  • Tuesday: Tabletop (D&D, Magic! The Gathering & any other tabletop game!)
  • Wednesday: Warcraft!
  • Thursday: Thursday Thought’s
  • Friday: Feature (Anything I am interested in – not just gaming related!)
  • Saturday: Weekend Warrior (A wrap up of the week, what is going to be expected for the following week, and anything I would like to banter about!)
  • Sunday: No blog post

I am not sure about this just yet. This is not set in stone. Seems like a good plan however.

What do you think?

Warcraft Wednesday: Crucible Of Storms & Xal’atath Quest line!

Greetings and welcome to the Warcraft Wednesday post!

Shadow Priest now has access to the Xal’atath quest line. It is one full week before the Crucible of Strom’s raid drop and I am super excited to get started with it. However I am going to hold off until next week to get going with it because I want to do it just before I head in with my team.

I am excited for it, I just have a very busy week with work and other things that I have on my to do list.

What are you looking forward to with the upcoming raid?
