Preface: I am going to talk about some medical things in this blog post. Nothing grossly offensive or gory; however, if it makes you uncomfortable even in the slightest, then this post is not for you. Thank you for stopping by!
I have been dealing with migraines since I was about thirteen or so. It is absolutly the worst thing to deal with. You never know when one will creep up on you at any given time.
They just suck. The pain can be crippling. In 2013, I spent two weeks laid out on my couch as my head pounded. I could not sit up for more then five minuets. I was dizzy, and threw up a couple times, and dehydrated.
I have not had one like that since thankfully.
I also suffer from costochondritis. It is inflammation of the junctions where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone, or sternum. The condition causes localized chest pain that you can reproduce by pushing on the cartilage in the front of your ribcage.
With all the pain I have to deal with, I want to creep out of the migraine hole, get strength back in my body, and start feeling better. So, what I came up with is to join a gym today. I will start as soon as I can. Just to take the weight off, change the diet I currently have, and to move forward as a better version of myself.
I want to encourage you as well to feel better. For yourself. Someone in the world cares enough about you to get you over this hump.
