Recently I have noticed an influx of people reaching out in the gaming communities that I am a member of for help with various issues going on in their life. For the most part, their stories vary; however, the sadness or even depression is real.
I even came across a blog talking about how the writer was on the brink of taking their own life. All these things, post, and various entries are scary to read because their are real people behind the keyboard. We live in a world where technology is the way we communicate and we often do not meet the person posting such things in real life. We, at times, do not even know their real names.
I wanted to take a moment and provide some resources for those who may feel like they need to utilize them.
Just know you are never alone. There is help available & someone to listen.
