Wonder: Book Of The Month

wonder.jpgWonder is a children’s book about August Pullman and his story about his life with a facial deformity.

August, a home schooled fifth-grader living in North River Heights in Upper Manhattan with his parents, details a bunch of medially needed surgery’s, the passing of his dog, and starting to go to an actual school.

As sad as I am for August and his circumstances, you see how bright he is. The book is laced with a few laugh out loud moments. Its about life and how some kids can be cruel but how a child works through these times of their life’s.

It really worth a read no matter your age, it will provide you a different perspective on life.
